Canadian comic duo Johnny Wayne and Frank Shuster continue their sketch comedy, renaming the “Wayne & Shuster (Comedy Special)“ to “The Wayne & Shuster Superspecial“. Not a lot changes otherwise: A lot of spoofs are done such as Hamlet and the Godfather. Occasionally they remake old favorites too, some of which must have been done three of four times in their career.

Canadian comic duo Johnny Wayne and Frank Shuster continue their sketch comedy, renaming the "Wayne & Shuster Hour" to "...Comedy Special". Again a lot of spoofs are done such as 'Mutiny on the poopdeck', 'The Big Escape', and 'A moon for all seasons'.

Wayne and Shuster in this series present some of their earlier work from the long-running Wayne & Shuster show, such as the Bible Bowl, Murder at the Stratford Festival, Dorian Wayne, The Wonderful World of... The World, and their signature sketch, "Frontier Psychiatrist". These are all color sketches but since they had been active since the '50s, they later also presented a compilation of black & white material, "Wayne and Shuster in Black and White" (1996).

The U.S. submarine Anthony Wayne is underway for a top-secret mission. Onboard is a highly classified device that will give the Americans a decided nuclear advantage.
